Queen’s Jubilee – Street Food Weekend

17:00-21:00 2nd June – 5th June

It’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend and we are celebrating with a feast of Street Food vendors joining us on the campsite.  Put up the bunting, layout the table and let’s celebrate the first British Monarch for over  70 years of service to our country.



Tail-Wagging Weekender

Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June

Introducing our NEW Tail-Wagging Weekender – two days of doggylicious delight from guided walks, dog agility obstacles to try, stands and stalls to browse, and our Fun Dog Show for your chance to win a rosette with your pooch.

Summer Holiday – Street Food WK1

16.00 – 20.00 – 21st July to 23rd July

Three days of tasteful foods for you to try and enjoy from our Street food vans and stands.

Lots to choose from and a different menu each night.  We have buckets of chips with homemade toppings and hand-stretched pizza, scrummy donuts with dipping sauce, delicious handmade chocolate bars and flavoured coffees.  So what will you go for first!

Summer Holiday – Street Food WK2

16.00 – 20.00 – 26th July to 30th July

Delicious foods from our Street food vans to tantalize your taste buds and enjoy.

From fresh hand-stretched pizza, big dirty burgers, buckets of chips with lashings of toppings, waffles, dirty popcorn & sweet cones and delicious milk shakes are just some of the things on the menus.

Summer Holiday – Street Food WK3

16.00 – 20.00 – 2nd August to 6th August

This week we have a feast of Street Food vans and stands for you to indulge in and enjoy. From tasty sweet treats, delicious thick shakes with deluxe toppings, Middle Eastern filled pitta breads,Buckets of Chips with homemade toppings and build your own cheesecake with naughty toppings.  So much to choose from you’ll keep going back for more.


Summer Holiday – Street Food WK4

16.00 – 20.00 – 9th August to 13th August

Our popular Street Food stands and vans are back again from Tuesday and will be serving up some really tasty treats and offering an array of all-time favourite foods as well as some more unusual dishes.

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, you’re royally invited to enjoy four days of live music, street food from across the world and a choice of 30 ciders from around Britain.

Banham Village Green – just a 10-minute walk from the campsite

Celebrate with the Banham community, there are games, Happy Feet Ceilidh band, bar & food, rodeo bull, face painting, magician, treasure hunt, craft stalls & best (homemade) crown competition and more!  Plus from 7pm family disco & BBQ at the Community Centre.

Royal Norfolk Show

Lord Mayor’s Celebration

Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd July

A weekend of free entertainment for all ages.

Extending the jubilee commemorations, this year’s theme is ‘kings and queens’, with a right royal knees-up planned to celebrate all things regal, from Norwich’s very own Queen of Iceni to Bimini Bon Boulash, and Elvis Presley to Queen Elizabeth II herself.


Weeting Steam Engine Rally & Country Show

A fun family day out filled with nostalgia of steam. From the large range of steam engines to the fairground, gundogs to chainsaw carving, there’s something for everyone, whatever your age – across a 170 acre site!

Dippy’s Christmas Celebration

Christmas returns to Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure on selected dates through November and December

Father Christmas has teamed up with Dippy to bring some magic to the Park. There will be the usual dino filled day out, alongside the dinosaurs you will find Christmas decorations, a Christmas themed movie and Christmas show in Dippy’s Theatre.

Banham Zoological Gardens

Just a 5-minute walk from the campsite. As guests of Applewood Countryside Park, save £5.00 per person on day entry tickets!

If you’ve not visited Banham Zoological Gardens before, there is so much to see and do! It’s the ultimate fun filled day out for all the family. From your pitch in the evening as you settle down for the night, you can often hear the tigers roar, the sea lions bark and the siamangs sing – we really are that close!

Enjoy a walk with the family and discover the local area. From an ancient castle and a massive mill, two of the highlights on this walk from Old Buckenham to New Buckenham with Norfolk Ramblers.

Knettishall Heath Country Park

Knettishall Heath, Thetford, Suffolk, IP22 2TQ

Knettishall Heath Country Park offers acres of heathland and woodland for you to explore. Perfect for picnics and some lovely, well signed walking trails along the Little Ouse River. It’s also the start point for Peddars Way.

St Georges Distillery

Harling Road, Roudham, East Harling, Norfolk, NR16 2QW

St Georges Distillery, home of The English Whisky Co. is the first distillery in England in over 100 years and part of Norfolk’s heritage. Do a tour to see the gleaming copper stills or just browse the shop where you can also find over 200 different whiskies for sale and a wonderful selections of gift ideas.

Attleborough Pub Walk

7.1 miles from the campsite.

Attleborough is a small busy market town with a variety of local shops, restaurants and some great pubs.  The first pub on your walk is the Mulberry Tree Bar and Restaurant, which serves an expansive choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, including fancy cocktails, speciality gins and mature vintage malt.  They also have an excellent menu, which changes daily to maximise the availability of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
