Street Food – October Half Term

17:00-20:00 Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd October

This October Half Term we have a feast of Street Food vans and stands for you to indulge and enjoy during your stay. Waffles, dirty popcorn, Indian street food and mini donuts are all on the menu for you to try!


Halloween Spooktacular

14:00-20:00 Saturday 30th October

We have lots of spooky fun planned to celebrate Halloween! From a fancy dress competition and pumpkin carving to an after dark Halloween walk and campfire. For further details, visit Park Reception or take a look at our Facebook page.

This Halloween Weekend we have a feast of Street Food vans and stands for you to indulge and enjoy during your stay. South African street food, dirty burgers, waffles, popcorn and mini donuts are all on the menu for you to try!

Dads Army Location Coach Tour

May 15th – July 17th – September 4th – October 2nd @ 10.00am to 16.00pm

The Dads Army Museum will be running coach tours of some of the out of town locations used in the filming.

The tour is in 2 stages with the first leaving the museum at 10am.

If you’ve not visited Banham Zoo before, there is so much to see and do! It’s the ultimate fun filled day out for all the family. From your pitch in the evening as you settle down for the night, you can often hear the tigers roar, the sea lions bark and the siamangs sing – we really are that close!

Enjoy a walk with the family and discover the local area. From an ancient castle and a massive mill, two of the highlights on this walk from Old Buckenham to New Buckenham with Norfolk Ramblers.

Knettishall Heath Country Park

Knettishall Heath, Thetford, Suffolk, IP22 2TQ

Knettishall Heath Country Park offers acres of heathland and woodland for you to explore. Perfect for picnics and some lovely, well signed walking trails along the Little Ouse River. It’s also the start point for Peddars Way.

St Georges Distillery

St Georges Distillery, home of The English Whisky Co. is the first distillery in England in over 100 years and part of Norfolk’s heritage. Do a tour to see the gleaming copper stills or just browse the shop where you can also find over 200 different whiskies for sale and a wonderful selections of gift ideas.

Attleborough Pub Walk

7.1 miles from the campsite.

Attleborough is a small busy market town with a variety of local shops, restaurants and some great pubs.  The first pub on your walk is the Mulberry Tree Bar and Restaurant, which serves an expansive choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, including fancy cocktails, speciality gins and mature vintage malt.  They also have an excellent menu, which changes daily to maximise the availability of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
