Banham Car Boot

It’s a blast from the past… we’re excited to announce the return of the Banham Car Boot for 12 Sundays in 2025 between April and September. Our next day will be be Sunday 27th April.

No need to book, just turn up on the day. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Trial by Jury: A 1940s Murder Mystery

Step back in time to the 1940s, a world of wartime intrigue, high-stakes drama, and courtroom suspense. You’re invited to an immersive Trial by Jury experience at Applewood Hall where YOU become part of the story.

Will you be able to piece it all together before the final verdict is delivered?

Axes & Arrows Adventure Afternoon

Whether you want to channel your inner Robin Hood or unleash your inner Viking, our Axes & Arrows Adventure Afternoon is for you!

With expert instructors, laughs all around, and friendly competition in the air, it’s the perfect way to try something new, boost your skills, and have an unforgettable time with friends or family.

Canine Carnival

11am-4pm // Sat 31st May

Join the PAW-ty at this year’s Canine Carnival! Want to show off your pup? Enter our Fun Dog Show to have a chance of winning some prizes and a rosette! With the return of the popular sausage catching competition, glittery face painting, doggy-themed stalls and so much more, we know you and your dogs will have a ball.

 

 

ROARR! & Snore

Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July

Get ready for a ROARR-some family adventure, where dino-loving explorers can enjoy epic storytelling, fossil hunts, Jurassic crafts, and dance-offs with Dippy! There’ll be pizza, prizes, and a VIP breakfast to top it all off, it’s the ultimate prehistoric weekend getaway!

Sheringham Viking Festival & Parade 2025

10am-8pm // Sat 26 Apr

Beeston Common, Sheringham NR26 8EU

The fun starts on Beeston Common with the Viking Village, where there will be plenty of activities for people of all ages, from battle reenactments during the day to the lively parade in the evening proceeding through Sheringham towards the sea for the finale of the boat-burning ceremony on the seafront.

East Anglian Game & Country Fair

Royal Norfolk Show

The Banham Barrel

A family run pub, The Banham Barrel welcomes children, dogs and drinkers! With a large meadow perfect for socially distanced drinks, and a great selection of beers, ciders and speciality gins, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon.

The Coffee Nook

A recent addition to Banham, The Coffee Nook is a welcoming and relaxing café adjoining Play Nooks, offering an array delicious hot beverages crafted with locally roasted Strangers Coffee, and tasty, freshly baked cakes & pastries sourced from Holly Barn Bakes.

 

The Garden House

Under new ownership, the newly refurbished Garden House is a family and dog-friendly local country pub where a warm welcome awaits. The pub has an impressive main bar, a dedicated games room showing Sky Sports and the “Smoke House” restaurant serving BBQ dishes inspired by America’s deep south and a traditional Sunday Roast.

The Gamekeeper

The Gamekeeper is a family-friendly pub situated at the heart of Old Buckenham, home to England’s largest village green.
