The annual Norfolk Festive Gift Show returns to the Norfolk Showground this Winter and is set to be our BIGGEST and BEST show yet….

With over 300 fantastic trade stands featuring thousands of Christmas gifts – the Norfolk Festive Gift Show is the number one event of its type in the area!

Luminate Sandringham

12th November – 19th December

Nestled deep within Her Majesty’s private Estate, awaits a spectacular, illuminated trail, full of wonder and intrigue, to delight and enthral your senses.

As darkness descends, join the enchanting journey, a captivating light trail through the Country Park at Sandringham, the much loved rural retreat of Her Majesty. Immerse yourself in a mesmerising mile long trail, with stunning lighting elements and fabulous light play, all set to ambient music.

Tunnel Of Lights

16th November – 5th January 2022

Get ready to feel festive! This Christmas, Norwich is the place to be, with a host of beautiful and seasonal installations.

The ever popular Tunnel of Light makes a welcome return, and has lit up the streets of Norwich for several years – with more gorgeous patterns to enjoy this year than ever before.

 

Dippy’s Christmas Celebration

3rd – 24th December (on selected dates)

The ultimate Christmas experience! Enjoy our Christmas celebration during the day with Jingle All The Day when the park is open or visit at night for a magic evening at the Sparkle In The Dark event.

Journey through the festive wintery route with the elves and meet Father & Mother Christmas. Get your magic passport from the elves, a candy cane, hot chocolate and the golden ticket to exchange for a gift in Father Christmas’ toy shop.

Christmas Crown Trail

16th November – 5 January 2022

The Christmas Crown Trail across the city of Norwich, where shops, restaurants, hotels and iconic historical buildings have all hidden crowns in their windows and stores for you to find.

Aimed for all ages to enjoy, the trail takes you from Norwich Castle to the Tunnel of Light and everywhere in between spotting crowns of all shapes and sizes, in all manner of forms.

Dick Whittington – Theatre Royal Norwich

11th December – 9th January 2022

Dick Whittington and his Cat tells the rags to riches tale of a young man leaving home with only a spotted handkerchief and his cat on an exciting quest for fame and fortune!

Featuring all the traditional pantomime ingredients including sensational songs, a live band, magic, dazzling dance routines, magnificent slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation.

A purr-fect treat for all the family!

Hippodrome – Gt Yarmouth

11th December – 9th January 2022

Christmas Spectacular, Circus & Water Show.  A Norfolk Tradition, This show is one of the biggest Christmas productions in Europe and combines the festive spirit of Christmas with the breathtaking magic of the curcus.

There truly is no other Christmas show like it and it provides a completely new alternative to the traditional pantomime shows.

If you’ve not visited Banham Zoo before, there is so much to see and do! It’s the ultimate fun filled day out for all the family. From your pitch in the evening as you settle down for the night, you can often hear the tigers roar, the sea lions bark and the siamangs sing – we really are that close!

Enjoy a walk with the family and discover the local area. From an ancient castle and a massive mill, two of the highlights on this walk from Old Buckenham to New Buckenham with Norfolk Ramblers.

Knettishall Heath Country Park

Knettishall Heath, Thetford, Suffolk, IP22 2TQ

Knettishall Heath Country Park offers acres of heathland and woodland for you to explore. Perfect for picnics and some lovely, well signed walking trails along the Little Ouse River. It’s also the start point for Peddars Way.

St Georges Distillery

Harling Road, Roudham, East Harling, Norfolk, NR16 2QW

St Georges Distillery, home of The English Whisky Co. is the first distillery in England in over 100 years and part of Norfolk’s heritage. Do a tour to see the gleaming copper stills or just browse the shop where you can also find over 200 different whiskies for sale and a wonderful selections of gift ideas.

Attleborough Pub Walk

7.1 miles from the campsite.

Attleborough is a small busy market town with a variety of local shops, restaurants and some great pubs.  The first pub on your walk is the Mulberry Tree Bar and Restaurant, which serves an expansive choice of alcoholic and soft drinks, including fancy cocktails, speciality gins and mature vintage malt.  They also have an excellent menu, which changes daily to maximise the availability of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
