Which Spooky Experience should I choose?
Our two experiences offer very different kinds of Halloween fun.
Friendly Frights Experience
Created especially with younger children and more cautious Halloween adventurers in mind. This is a playful, interactive experience where children can meet friendly Halloween characters, take part in silly challenges and complete their Little Monster Training along the way. Expect plenty of atmosphere and Halloween fun, but no deliberately frightening scares.
Wicked Haunts Trail
For the brave-hearted! Wicked Haunts is our darker and more thrilling experience, with live scare actors, eerie scenes, atmospheric lighting, special effects and surprises lurking along the route. It's best suited to older children, teenagers and adults who enjoy being scared.
Every child is different, so parents and guardians should choose the experience they feel is most appropriate for their family.
Can I do both Friendly Frights & Wicked Haunts?
Your standard event ticket includes one entry per person to one Spooky Experience. Simply choose on the night whether to use it for Friendly Frights or Wicked Haunts – the choice is yours!
Want to experience both – or go around again? Upgrade to an Unlimited Spooky Pass for unlimited access to both experiences throughout their operating times.
There will be no individual ‘Go Again’ tickets available this year, so the Unlimited Spooky Pass is the only way to repeat either experience. On-the-night upgrades will be subject to availability, so we recommend adding your pass when booking.
What if my child gets nervous or doesn't want to join in?
That's absolutely fine. Friendly Frights is designed to be fun rather than frightening, and children can watch or join in with the activities at their own pace – there's no pressure to complete every challenge.
For Wicked Haunts, yellow paddles will be available for any nervous guest (adult or child) who would prefer a less intense experience. Simply carry one with you to let our scare actors know to dial down the scares as you make your way around the trail.
Which ticket type do I need to book?
Ticket types are based on age:
- Groan-Ups: Adults aged 16+
- Screamagers: Children aged 7–15 years
- Halloweenies: Children aged 2–6 years
- Tiny Terrors: Infants aged 0–1 years
Please ensure you select the correct ticket type when booking.
Do you offer VIP tickets?
Yes! Our Spooktacular VIP Pass is the ultimate way to experience the evening.
Your VIP wristband gives you:
- Unlimited access to both Friendly Frights and Wicked Haunts during their opening times
- Fast Track entry to both Spooky Experiences
You'll also receive tokens to redeem these VIP goodies throughout the evening:
- 1 x Pizza from Peaky Pizzas
- 1 x Hot Drink from Cakes & Catering by Lauren Jade
- 1 x Marshmallow Toasting Pack, including two giant marshmallows + stick
VIP availability is limited and may sell out, so advance booking is recommended.
Are Halloween Spooktacular tickets included with campsite or glamping bookings?
No. If you have booked a camping, caravan or glamping pitch, Halloween Spooktacular tickets must be purchased separately and are not included in your accommodation booking.
Will the actors touch me during the Spooky Experiences?
No. Our actors are not permitted to touch guests, and we kindly ask that guests do not touch the actors. Physical or verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated, and we ask everyone to help keep this family-friendly experience safe and enjoyable.
What should I wear for Friendly Frights & Wicked Haunts?
Both the Friendly Frights Experience and Wicked Haunts Trail take place outdoors along a wooded route with bark chippings, grass and gravel, which may be uneven or wet. We strongly recommend wearing suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, including waterproofs if needed.
Is the event suitable for guests using mobility equipment or pushchairs?
Guests using mobility equipment or pushchairs are advised to consider off-road capability, as parts of the Spooky Experiences take place on uneven outdoor surfaces. For full details, please refer to our Accessibility Information.
Can I take photos or videos during the Spooky Experiences?
No. Photography and video filming are not permitted during the Spooky Experiences. This helps preserve the experience for all guests and ensures everyone’s safety.
Can I bring my dog?
No. Due to the nature of this event, dogs and pets are not permitted. Registered assistance dogs are exempt. Please be aware that while fireworks are low noise and set to music, they may still include sudden bangs.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable, and refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the event due to exceptional circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued, minus the transaction fee.
