Park Reception
Park Reception is your go-to hub during your stay, where our friendly team is always happy to help. Whether you’re checking in, looking for local tips and ideas for days out, or just need a hand with something small, we’re here to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. You’ll also find a handy on-site shop stocked with basic camping essentials, plus useful extras like table tennis bat and ball hire, firewood, Calor gas bottle exchange and RADAR key hire. We’re even happy to refreeze your ice packs - it’s all part of the service!

Toilets & Showers
Rest assured that when you stay at Applewood you will have comfort and convenience throughout your stay. We offer the most modern toilet facilities, including accessible toilets, which are regularly monitored and cleaned. Our private shower rooms on the Main Park and Laurel Meadow feature underfloor heating, a changing bench, sink, mirror and hooks, alongside longer push-button run times, adjustable temperature control and a moveable shower head.
The Main Park and Laurel Meadow also offer fully-equipped accessible wet rooms. These offer spacious dry changing areas and baby-changing units, perfect for stress-free family showering, or guests who require extra space and support.
Washing Facilities
At Applewood, you’ll find all the practical comforts of home. Our laundry room is fully equipped with washing machines and tumble dryers to keep clothes and towels clean and dry throughout your stay. We also provide convenient washing-up facilities, waste disposal and recycling areas, plus multiple fresh water points around the site.
Play & Games
Kids love Applewood because there’s always something to explore! The Apple Harvest Adventure Play Park is a real highlight, packed with space to climb, clamber and let imaginations run wild, while the nearby Play Trail is a firm favourite, featuring monkey bars, a fireman’s pole and a wobbly bridge to race across.
When it’s time to head indoors, our undercover Games Den brings the whole family together – challenge each other to table tennis, giant chess or Connect 4 for some friendly competition.
And when it comes to outdoor space, Grove Meadow is made for it. Whether it’s a family game of cricket, a football kick-about or a peaceful walk with your dog, the beautiful countryside surrounding Applewood offers fresh air, freedom and plenty of room to play.
Woodland Nature Trail
Don’t forget to explore our Woodland Nature Trail, a peaceful 1.2km walk winding through shaded woodland. Sheltered beneath the trees, it’s ideal for gentle strolls in all weathers, making it a favourite for families and nature lovers alike.
Along the way, keep an eye out for local wildlife and take time to explore the nature boards detailing the flora and fauna you may spot throughout the year. Younger explorers will love discovering points of interest dotted along the trail, including a vintage tractor and a heritage cart once pulled by Suffolk Punch heavy horses – a lovely nod to the park’s farming history.
WiFi & Connectivity
You may be in the countryside, but you still want to stay connected, or work remotely! We offer free WiFi throughout the main park and Laurel Meadow, but this doesn’t cover Grove Meadow at the moment.

Save time, fuel and money and store your unit here at Applewood Countryside Park. Conveniently located just off the A11, our secure storage site is ideal for those who regularly visit East Anglia or live locally and want to free up valuable drive space.
We offer hard standing, undercover storage on a flexible monthly basis for any model of caravan, motorhome, RV, campervan, folding campers or trailer tent.
